Should mankind be free to choose what to believe, how to live and what they can and can't say?

Take it or Leave it.

The great debate over our right to choose carries on.

The Christian emails will be in blue and my replies will be in black and white. Enjoy!

Lately people have been wanting to know the real, true reason that I put so much time and effort into this site.

Unfortunately the answer isn't as noble and heroic as you'd hope it to be. The answer.. well...

Girls.

So here is some more wonderful emails from wonderful girls with wonderful taste in web sites.

(All of these photographs were sent with their accompanying email.)

Hail! Your site is the best place for good rest ;-) Sending regards from Russian Satanists - we really enjoy this game.

Good luck,
Lady Evil

You rock, rock, rock just like the proverbial hurricane!! However, I really should be working now. Keep me in mind if you ever need a fellow jaded sarcastic artiste such as myself (I really don't know how I could be useful other than mocking).

Enjoy my stunning physical presence.

Eghia Bagley

Hi, I just wanted to let you know that I've never come across any website or article or anything that has come so close to how I feel about God and the Bible as your site has.  It actually kind of freaked me out for a while. That is EXACTLY what I think about all of that stuff. I could've written that story that you have on your god section. That is how right on it is with my feelings about Christianity.  Well, if I let this email go on forever, you will get bored, and I will continue to jabber about how amazed I am. But I just wanted you to know that you really made my day.

I feel better knowing there's someone out there who understands EXACTLY how I feel about that subject.

Thanks,
Jenna Smith

"You got guts."

You got guts.
Go into church stand in front of a cross look up and say to God 'all this you did for me asn I don't give a damm.

Robin Behrens

I have looked up at that symbol you worship, and I have said, "All this you say you did for me, and it all sounds like such a sham. If you're God, why did you do it this way, making it so exploitable and intangible? Is that part of the great plan? Is this how expendable our eternal lives are? How can I feel any sort of real love for someone (something) that can't be seen, felt or heard?"

And the questions just kept coming until I finally had to leave in disgust.

It was the consideration that it quite possibly could all be fiction that eventually freed my mind and ended the lie I'd been living. Don't think I haven't given this some thought.

Bob

"...you mock because it haunts you!"

Strange for there is no symbol I worship, neither is there one the way of the followers. As a minister myself, also studying psych. humans have a need for somthing tangible, to feel, to touch. IT is there all around us. Over150 billion galaxies don't just pop up. Ten differnet dimensions on amathamatical level don't just happen. IT is beyond the grasp of the human mind. Yet so simple that some being thought how could I get these beings to realise that I love them. Sure there will always be the sceptic those who choose to not belive so they can live their selfish live, Even those who will abuse this truth. But Hey I got the message. My job isn't to force others to believe rather to invite them to critise my live so I can be better. Most haven't got the guts to do this so they twist the truth to fit their petty little selfish lives. Hence people like you can mock. Yet you mock because it haunts you!

Then this email was sent 10 minutes later...

"A Funny for you So then waht does Christmas mean to you.????"

Hey one must wonder. THis guy Y'shua. (true name not Jesus as we commonly use it) He must have either been a nutty fruit cake like somewone who says he is a living banana, .. or telling the truth. To do what he did these are only those two alternatives. Which do you choose?

Enjoy your day should you choose to use you freewill to do so, or other wise may you execise your freewill to express yourself in a way that will not infringe on someone else freedom with out feeling in any way obliged to have any of these expressions be predictive. choose.

A Funny for you So then waht does Christmas mean to you.????

Best wishes for an environmentally conscious, socially responsible, low stress, non-addictive, gender neutral, winter solstice holiday, practiced within the most joyous traditions of the religious persuasion of your choice, but with respect for the religious persuasion of others who choose to practice their own religion as well as those who choose not to practice a religion at all; plus, A fiscally successful, personally fulfilling, and medically uncomplicated recognition of the generally accepted calendar year 1999, but not without due respect for the calendars of choice of the other cultures whose contributions have helped make our society great, without regard to age, race, creed, color, religion, national origin, disability, political affiliation or sexual orientation.

Robin Behrens
rbehrens@freemail.absa.co.za

Oh Robin, since when is a billion years just "popping up"? And your "Christmas" defense is the silliest argument I've yet to hear.

For a teacher of religious faith your writing skills are horrendous. Hell, for a junior higher your writing skills are horrendous. I find it ironic that you claim to have the answers to life and you don't even know how to spell the word.

I believe there to be another alternative to your "living banana" and Messiah options. I think that through history there have been a great many knuckleheads (like yourself) passing along your knuckleheaded wisdom and convincing a knuckleheaded audience.

You must understand that I am not one of those knuckleheads that is haunted by the stories that your kind has been passing through the generations. You knuckleheads just don't think before you write and that's how this whole big lie got to where it is now... you knucklehead.

"...focus on more positive activities for people to do on the internet."

I think that this is in very poor taste. You need to focus on more positive activities for people to do on the internet.

Karleen Stephens
kstephens@anonomous

Oh yes, the positive activities. I've always found things like sharing and kindness to be so very entertaining. You need to surf around the web for a couple hours and give me an example of good, positive entertainment on the Internet... for somebody other than a 5 year old.

"I was a little unclear as to whether you consider attributes such as sharing and kindness to be traits that are laughable."

I would rather not get a response but I do want you to know that I received your message and your sarcasm was very enlightening. I was a little unclear as to whether you consider attributes such as sharing and kindness to be traits that are laughable. If you do I am sorry that you feel that way. These are traits that we work on daily within our school systems.

Karleen Stephens
kstephens@anonomous

Karleen,

You should not email people that you do not want a reply from. The luxury of expressing your views also entails hearing the opposition. Being content with ignorance, I believe, is a direct result of a society too complacent (Too much kindness and sharing and not enough questioning). I'll explain more after I answer your question.

The answer (which you'd prefer I'd keep to myself), is "Yes". I do believe that there are times when sharing and kindness is laughable, usually when it is patronizing and/or pity. I despise being patronized or pitied. Too many people seek out this form of attention, and obliging this craving is, at its very least, laughable. I believe that it's gotten so out of hand in our society that many can no longer handle an alternative idea, criticism, retort or even something as harmless as a drawing, written word or a joke.

Genuine kind acts and sharing are not laughable. I appreciate that they're being taught in our schools and I practice these acts every day expecting nothing in return.

If we were kind all of the time nothing would ever get done and our life expectancies would be cut in half from the gross repression we'd have buried in us all.

"It's real, I PROMISE!"

It's truly unbelievable what you have here. all the work you've done on this site. I can't help but think about just going off on you, or saying you'll pay for this, but, no not really. No man is righteous, not even one. No one is worthy of his grace or love. It's a free gift he chose to give. But I will say that there is a day that we all must answer why God should let us into heaven. My answer is that I love Jesus and have been hanging out with him for over 4 years now, and that he died for people like me who have a personal relationship with him. It's real, I PROMISE!

Jesse Baumgartner
jesse.baumgartner@worldnet.att.net

OK Jesse. If you give your word that's good enough for me. Despite the confusion my life shall become and a belief that I'll have to fake, I'll do it solely based on the good name of Jesse Baumgartner. But if you're wrong and you break that promise, you're gonna owe me BIG!

So here I go, based on a promise in an email. I believe that the God of the world loves me and wants me to live with Him in a land of paradise... forever and ever... because it makes... sense? Ugh! Will every day be this difficult?!

"I dont push mine down others throat.."

I can be a person of very few words, or many? I received this message, and was shocked that u would do this to the Christ? It is horrible. I am a Christian, and just surprised that u would do this to any of the religions? I dont push mine down others throat. I accept ppl just the way they are, and so should u? Everyone has the right to believe the way that they want? None should be put up to mockery, and that is what u have done? I dont put down any other religions at all? To each His own........

Sondra Breen
blustar@iserv.net

Sondra, I am not pushing anything down anyone's throat. In fact there is nothing that could be easier than clicking on that little, beveled square in the upper left hand corner of the page with your mouse.

It should be considered that a better example of "pushing down one's throat" would be the damning of a person's soul for believing something other than Christianity.

Sure, you say that you do not practice this method of spreading the gospel. But did you ever think that because you do not you are disobeying your God? You are not adequately spreading His word as He bids you to do, and twisting God's rules to suit your own selfish needs makes you much worse in God's eyes than my honest declaration of disbelief.
