Hello Bob,
I absolutely love your site. I never really had too much of an opinion about religion before as it wasn’t something that I thought about – I don’t come from a religious family and there aren’t the same issues here in U.K as there are in U.S such as evolution v.s creationism in schools etc… I can’t believe there are people who believe this earth is only 6000 old – it’s not ignorance because the evidence to the contrary is there – there’s no excuse for it. Anyway, I’ve been reading through your site for some time and I have come to the realisation that religion is absolutely horrendous and you’re doing a wonderful thing standing up against something so backwards and dangerous. The world will be a better place when more people start looking at what is actually out there instead of burying their heads into some ancient text and locking their minds inside it - or whatever pre-established belief system they happen to latch onto. What you’re doing is amazing – it has got to get through to some religious people out there and make them think (actually think, not just shut their eyes, put their fingers in their ears and say “I’m so much more deeply rooted in my beliefs now” – that’s a very sickening response).
